Elvis Jumpsuit Costume
There seem to be a huge number of Elvis impersonators still putting on their Elvis Presley tribute performances all over the world. They are instantly recognizable as imitators of the king of rock and roll, mostly because the almost always choose to dress in a the iconic Elvis jumpsuit costume, along with the obligatory Elvis hair style and dark glasses.
Most people, even younger generations born long after Elvis died, knows the unique Elvis "look" as soon as they see it.
The original Elvis jumpsuit stage costumes were a work of art, with very detailed embroidery and other decorative finishes, and some are reputed to have cost as much as $10,000 to make.
The jumpsuit example in the picture on the left imitates many of the decorative features of the original, at a fraction of the original's cost. This is a "collectors" edition, with more detail in the finishing and decoration than lower cost versions that are intended more for occasional costume parties.
